Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of production equipment under general supervision. You will interpret complex drawings and manuals, troubleshoot effectively, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong problem solving, safety focus, and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Excel and CMMS software for data and work orders.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems; general electrical knowledge.
• Understanding of spare parts inventory and parts ordering processes.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions safely.
• Must pass a maintenance assessment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.
• Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
• Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints, worksheets, manuals and related docs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform various hot work tasks as needed.
• Order supplies and repair items; setup and operate equipment to make/repair parts (lathe, drill press, grinder, etc.).
• Work at heights of 10 feet or more and in tight spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.
• Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
• Ability to interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals, and other related documents.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Perform various hot work tasks.
• Orders supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate equipment being used to make and repair parts.Examples would be lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Ability to work at heights of 10'-0" or more.
• Ability to work in tight spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD, and PLC systems.
