Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group is hiring for a Mazda Express Technician and Apprentice in Martinez, GA. Join our fast-paced, team-driven shop and grow through our Apprentice Program while contributing to vehicle diagnostics and repairs.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills required.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including tires, oil filter and oil changes.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Participate in the Apprentice Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including tires, oil filter and oil changes
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
