Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group seeks a Mazda Express Technician and Apprentice to join our service team in Martinez, GA. You will perform repairs and diagnostics on Mazda vehicles, while training under experienced technicians to advance your skills.

Ideal candidates have a strong automotive background, are willing to undergo a drug screen and background check, and hold a valid driver's license. Certification in ASE is ideal, and a team-oriented mindset is essential in our fast-paced, customer-focused

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including tires, oil filter and oil changes
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
