Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group in Martinez, GA is seeking a Mazda Express Technician and Apprentice to join our fast-paced service team. You will perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, drive diagnostics, and work toward ASE certification.

The role includes an Apprentice Program, paid training, and opportunities to develop hands-on expertise. A strong automotive background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal
• Strong automotive background required
• Strong teamwork skills required
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
• Clean and valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including tires and oil changes.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers and estimate repair time.
• Participate in the Apprentice Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including tires, oil filter and oil changes
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Apprentice Program
