New Bern Auto Group in New Bern, NC is seeking Automotive Tech Apprentices and Automotive Express Techs to join our team. You will work in a clean, temperature-controlled shop and enjoy a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with teammates and customers.
• Efficient time management for multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills for service software and records.
• Valid driving record to test-drive and shuttle vehicles.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Rotate tires.
• Replace filters.
• Perform state inspections.
• Perform battery tests.
• Replace batteries.
• Tire repairs & replacements.
• Provide excellent customer service with the customer’s perspective in mind.
