The City of Montgomery is seeking a high‑caliber logistics professional to support the Mayor and Executive Staff. You will coordinate lodging, transportation, and meals, and deliver briefings and logistical guidance for seamless operations.
You will conduct municipal research, prepare briefings and presentations, and maintain strict confidentiality while exercising sound judgment in decision-making. This role reports directly to the Mayor’s Office.
Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade. **A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations**
The fundamental reason this position exists is to serve as a key member of the Mayor's team, coordinating logistics to ensure seamless operations for the Mayor's office. The work responsibilities include coordinating lodging, transportation, and meal accommodations while providing personal briefings and logistical guidance to the Mayor and staff, developing strategic plans, maintaining confidentiality, and exercising sound judgment in decision-making are integral aspects of the role. Conducting comprehensive research on municipal issues, preparing briefings and presentations, and facilitating interactions with stakeholders and the media further contribute to the effective governance and support of the Mayor and the Mayor's Executive Staff in their responsibilities. This classification reports directly to the City of Montgomery Mayor.

Applicants will be screened and qualified based upon education and experience as shown on the application and supplemental questionnaire.
