Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer with 8+ years of MAS experience and strong Linux proficiency to lead architectural direction and hands-on implementation for NASA Enterprise operations. Responsibilities include API integration design, MAS configuration, automation scripting (Python/XML/JavaScript/JSON), and MAS deployment on OpenShift.

On-site work five days weekly, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable MAS

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, MIF, and REST API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, scripting, system operations, and performance management.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• OpenShift container platform knowledge and MAS deployments.
• SSO solutions and MAF configuration knowledge.
• Automation scripting with Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Security, API management, and authentication frameworks familiarity.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience using Jira Service Management for issue tracking.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring for integrations.
• Lead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture for NASA systems.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO implementations.
• Manage MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Lead project communications for executives and center teams.
• Utilize Jira Service Management to track issues and service requests.
