Job summary

Air Liquide Houston is seeking a Maximo Lead to supervise maintenance operations and drive CMMS data integrity and user adoption of IBM Maximo. The role balances field supervision with system optimization to ensure accurate asset tracking and efficient work orders.

Candidate should have 5+ years with IBM Maximo and 3+ years of supervision, plus strong training and reporting skills. This is an on-site position in Houston, TX with comprehensive benefits.

We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control centre located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. This role balances field supervision with system enhancement, ensuring accurate asset tracking, optimized work order workflows, and enhanced team training.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximo Data Development & Optimization: Audit current CMMS data to clean up legacy records, streamline work order workflows, standardize asset/location hierarchies, and refine inventory/spares cataloging.
• Team Leadership & Field Supervision: Direct daily activities of maintenance technicians, assign Maximo-generated work orders, monitor job execution, and ensure high quality and safety standards.
• Training & User Adoption: Develop and deliver targeted Maximo training modules for technicians, planners, and operators to ensure accurate time tracking, detailed job closing notes, and proper failure coding.
• Process Improvement & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track system usage, maintenance backlog, and asset reliability, leveraging data insights to drive preventive maintenance strategies.
• Data Governance: Define and enforce standardized data entry protocols across the maintenance department to maintain long-term CMMS data health.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:3+ years supervising maintenance teams; 5+ years of hands‑on experience using IBM Maximo.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Maximo module navigation (Assets, Work Orders, PMs, Inventory), workflow development, and reporting.
• Soft Skills Proven: Leadership capability, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record in technical training and onboarding.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Asset Management preferred.
• Preferred Qualification: Prior industrial gas experience.
