Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club seeks a Greenskeeper III to maintain the golf course grounds on Maui, HI. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, fertilizing, and general landscape care to ensure pristine conditions for members and guests.

The role requires working flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a luxury hospitality setting. Training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscaping, preferably in a residential or hospitality environment.
• Ability to operate landscape machinery such as push rotary mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, utility vehicles, and riding mowers.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles properly and safely.
• Plant knowledge/Horticultural Practices knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mowing of tees, greens, fairways and rough.
• Operation of push rotary mowers and string trimmers.
• Raking of bunkers and general bunker maintenance and upkeep.
• Must be able to operate all equipment related to the preparation, repair and maintenance of the golf course and landscape.
• Detail of tee areas including picking up broken tees, debris, trash, detail signage and emptying trashcans.
• Assist with set-up and break down of special events if needed.
