Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club in Maui is seeking a Greenskeeper III to join the Golf Course Maintenance team. You’ll help maintain tees, greens, fairways and roughs, delivering pristine playing surfaces and landscape visuals for our members and guests.

The role requires operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site position with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and it offers

Qualifications

Prior experience in landscaping, preferably within a residential or hospitality environment.
Ability to operate landscape machinery such as push rotary mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, utility vehicles, and riding mowers.
Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles properly and safely.
Plant knowledge/Horticultural Practices knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Mowing of tees, greens, fairways and rough.
Operation of push rotary mowers and string trimmers.
Raking of bunkers and general bunker maintenance and upkeep.
Must be able to operate all equipment related to the preparation, repair and maintenance of the golf course and landscape.
Hand watering and fertilizing of tees, greens, fairways, roughs, all landscape collars, approaches, lawns and nurseries.
