Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort in Hawaii is seeking a dedicated Golf Maintenance Grounds Section Tender to maintain turf, plants, trees and shrubs on the golf course. You will care for walkways, use and maintain tools and equipment, and contribute to overall course presentation.

The role involves physical outdoor work, various duties across maintenance tasks, and potential overtime to support peak golf seasons.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, edge, clean, plant, water and maintain turf, ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs on golf course.
• Clean, edge, and maintain all walkways and cart paths on the golf course.
• Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of tools, power tools and equipment; report any problems.
• Responsible for the growth, maintenance and appearance of all turf and ornamentals on the golf course.
• Trim small trees, lateral growth, volunteer suckers and shrubs.
• Move tee markers, tee divots, change cups and water in ball washers; remove rubbish and debris one course.
