Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. You will safely operate machinery to prepare mattresses for packaging, inspect finished goods, and ensure accurate labeling for shipment.

The role offers 1st and 2nd shifts with pay between $17.60–$18.60 per hour, full-time temporary-to-hire, and opportunities for referral bonuses. Join a team that ships comfort daily and maintains strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly during an 8–10 hour shift.
• Match order sheets with correct box sizes and shipping labels.
• Previous experience in general labor, production, packaging, or warehouse environments is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate compression and rolling machinery to prep mattresses for packaging.
• Place rolled mattresses into shipping boxes, seal, and apply shipping labels.
• Inspect finished mattresses and packaging for defects, dirt, or mislabeling before staging.
• Move boxed inventory to warehouse staging areas or pallets for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation per safety standards.
