Job summary

iStaffing is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a mattress manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC. The role moves, measures, organizes, and supplies mattress materials to production lines on a full-time basis. The shift runs 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a pay rate of $16 per hour.

Responsibilities include handling foam, fabric, springs, and other materials, reading tags and orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read lot tags and work orders.
• Basic math and measurement accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize foam, fabric, springs, and other mattress materials.
• Supply production lines with the correct materials.
• Read lot tags, work orders, and production instructions accurately.
• Measure materials using basic measuring tools.
• Safely operate basic hand tools.
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
• Verify material types and quantities before production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
