This is a full-time, on-site role requiring frequent standing, walking and physical lifting. The loader performs repetitive motions and adheres to safety guidelines while supporting timely shipments to retailers.

Responsibilities

• The Loader is responsible for transferring the finished mattress and foundations units into a semi-trailer for delivery to the retail customer.
• The Loader moves wheeled carts of finished units to the trailer loading area. The Loader then wheels the cart into the trailer and moves the finished units off the cart into the trailer in an upright position or may pull the finished units off the cart outside the trailer and transfers them into the trailer in an upright position. As the trailer becomes full, the Loader may have to lift the finished units and lay them horizontally across the upright finished units to maximize the load size.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Continuous pushing and pulling a wheeled cart containing the finished units.
• Frequent pushing and pulling the finished units off the wheeled cart into the trailer.
• Frequent overhead lifting, pushing and pulling when loading finished units horizontally on top of upright units in the trailer.
