Job summary

Delaware Technical Community College – Stanton Campus mathematics department is seeking an adjunct mathematics instructor to teach various mathematics and/or statistics courses. This is a temporary part-time position with days and hours determined by the department’s needs.

The instructor will develop and improve curricula, deliver instruction in line with syllabi, evaluate student learning, maintain timely records, and provide advisory support to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with 30 math credits.
• Four (4) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and instruct in assigned courses, using LMS and effective teaching strategies.
• Maintain six posted office hours per week and provide guidance to students.
• Develop and revise curricula; contribute to program assessment and accreditation.
