Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of math subject matter from pre-algebra through calculus and statistics.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Experience tutoring or teaching or assisting students in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students one-to-one and prescribe alternate learning resources.
• Take inventory of tutoring materials and equipment.
• Monitor academic progress using prescribed assessment tools.
• Attend orientation and training sessions as requested.
• Submit monthly reports of tutoring activities to supervisor.
• Schedule tutoring sessions based on student needs and availability.
• Perform other related duties as required.
