Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Mathematics Manager to lead a team of Content/Program Support Specialists and drive improvements in student outcomes through strategic curriculum leadership. The role reports to the Director of Mathematics and collaborates with other Content Managers to ensure a unified vision across content areas.

This full-time, exempt position requires a strong background in math education, leadership, and professional learning design, with a focus on district-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
• Valid teaching certificate ISBE required with appropriate grade level and content endorsement
• LBSI, ESL, or Bilingual endorsement preferred
• Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum five years of classroom teaching experience in Math or related STEM field
• Three years in teacher leadership and district-level experience suggested

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Content/Program Support Specialists
• Collaborate with Content Managers to reflect a coherent vision across content areas
• Facilitate regular meetings to improve digital curriculum Skyline
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to deepen impact of Math Content Specialists
• Provide subject matter expertise on district-wide initiatives and RFPs
• Stay updated with current research and practices in math education
• Manage programs aligned with strategic plan
• Other duties as assigned
