Texas A&M University – Texarkana seeks a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Mathematics. Courses may run 5-week, 8-week, 10-week or 16-week terms and can be offered face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the discipline or related field with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline. Compensation is per undergraduate section: $2,400 with a master’s degree and $2,900 with a PhD.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field with 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Degree and coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics course(s) in face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online modalities.
• Coordinate course administrative duties such as grading, loading content, meeting with students, and submitting grades on time.
• Manage census and grade deadlines and other administrative tasks as needed.
