General Summary

The Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics teaches developmental and college-level mathematics courses as assigned. Primary teaching responsibilities may include the corequisite developmental mathematics pathways: MATH 0385 Contemporary Mathematics Pathway and MATH 0387 College Algebra Mathematics Pathway. These courses integrate instruction in Pre-Algebra, Introductory Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra to support student success in college-level mathematics. The College Algebra Mathematics Pathway ( MATH 0387) is paired with either MATH 1314 College Algebra or MATH 1324 Business Mathematics and Social Sciences I. The Contemporary Mathematics Pathway ( MATH 0385) is paired with MATH 1332 Contemporary Mathematics. Depending on departmental needs and the successful candidates qualifications, additional teaching assignments may include College Algebra, Business Mathematics and Social Sciences I, Contemporary Mathematics, Elementary Statistics, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III , Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
