The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks an adjunct faculty member in Mathematics to teach up to three in-person lower-level courses, including Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Statistics.
You will grade coursework, provide timely feedback, and maintain regular office hours in the Math Tutoring Lab. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mathematics, experience using technology in teaching, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Regular (PIN) or Long Term Contractual Faculty.
Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics.
ExperienceExperience integrating technology into the teaching process.Experience in working with freshmen and the ability to work withstudents and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesAvailability to teach classes in the time frame between 8 a.m. and3 p.m. is a big plus. Excellent oral and written communicationskills are an essential requirement for this position.
