Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers is seeking part-time instructors to teach math to K-12 students after school and on weekends. You will help students build solid math foundations, boost confidence, and help them achieve their goals using the Mathnasium Method.

Ideal applicants are college students in STEM fields or teachers seeking additional opportunities, with a passion for changing lives through math education. The role offers flexible, part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required.
• Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry.
• Ability to work a minimum of 6 hours a week, distributed across 2 days.

Responsibilities

• Teach math concepts to K-12 students and help build solid foundations.
• Boost students' confidence and support goal achievement through guided practice.
• Follow the Mathnasium Method using the provided curriculum and materials.
