Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps program in Moorhead, MN is hiring Math Tutors to help students strengthen their skills during the school day. You’ll work with groups of up to three students for 20–30 minutes and guide them through proven activities with on-site coaching and training.

As a tutor, you’ll track progress, conduct skill assessments, and share your experience with the community while enjoying a supported AmeriCorps stipend and the chance to grow professionally within a national tutoring

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
