Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to work at local schools, delivering structured math practice in small groups and supporting students through regular sessions.

You will guide students through 20–30 minute tutoring blocks, track progress, and collaborate with on-site coaches. Training and ongoing development are provided, with a focus on student growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who helps children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to support students.
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
