Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps program is seeking a Math Tutor to work at a local California school. You will lead small group tutoring, measure progress, and follow a structured schedule, with ongoing coaching and support from an on-site mentor. Training is provided to deliver proven activities to students.

Ideal candidates are dependable, fluent in English, 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and able to pass a background check. Part-time and full-time AmeriCorps positions are available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, browsing).
• Dependable with good attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
