Job summary

Metropolitan Community College Nebraskan Campus is seeking an UBMS Tutor - Math to help high school students understand math concepts and strengthen learning skills. You will support classroom content and guide students in applying Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel, while navigating MCC systems to support tutoring activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in progress or completed with GPA 3.25+ and B or better in math.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to explain complex subject matter with patience and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MCC systems and software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist high school students with understanding math concepts and assignments.
• Assist students with academic applications of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Assist students with navigating MCC systems and software.
• Perform UBMS tutoring tasks as assigned and attend scheduled activities.
