Job summary

Lead Academy in Montgomery Public Schools is seeking a Math Teacher to join its staff for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate must hold current Alabama teaching certification and preferably have a Mathematics endorsement.

This 187-day position involves creating a productive learning environment, leveraging technology, and building positive relationships with students, families, and staff, under the supervision of the principal.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with an endorsement in Mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an English program and classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
• Establish effective rapport with students.
