Job Description

Bellows Falls Union High School is seeking a full-time math teacher to join our community and dynamic math department. This position includes teaching several high school classes and the potential to support intervention needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Teaching responsibilities will vary but will likely include Pre Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and/or Financial Literacy.
• Intervention support, where needed, will focus on providing individual and small group instruction based on student need and work in collaboration with others in the department.
• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and instructional practices and demonstrated experience working with neurodiverse learners in a classroom setting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree and has a current, or is eligible for, a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement.
• Prior experience in teaching mathematics is preferred, particularly at the secondary level.
