Job Summary

Cardinal Ritter College Prep, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school for grades 9-12, seeks a certified Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We prefer the applicant to be SLU1818 or UMSL or AP credentialed to teach college credit math; however, it is not a criterion for hiring. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach in an urban, college preparatory environment, possess a strong academic background, and have a Missouri State Teaching License (Master’s Degree preferred).

Job Responsibilities

Employed person is expected to:

  1. Articulate and act per the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the St. Louis Archdiocese and Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School.
  2. Properly plan and deliver quality instruction utilizing the Gradual Release Model and formulating assessments to facilitate higher-order thinking.
  3. Integrate instructional technology in the classroom and implement project-based learning activities.
  4. Manage and maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning.
  5. Use an online student data system and Google applications.

In addition, candidates must demonstrate commitment to the vocation of teaching and an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Compensation:

Based on degrees and years of experience (somewhat negotiable); a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Reports to:

The school’s administrative team.
