Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking STEM or/and Math tutoring specialists to work with students in grades 9-12. This part-time role offers remote sessions, flexible hours, and paid training.

Ideal candidates have strong academic backgrounds and multiple years of tutoring experience. Responsibilities include delivering 60-minute remote tutoring to high school students, covering biology, chemistry, physics or math (algebra through calculus),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience teaching or tutoring grades 9-12 preferred.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics or AP equivalents OR Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• 60-minute tutoring sessions.
• 4–10 hours of assignments per week.

Position: STEM/Math Tutor

Classification: Part time employee (W2)

The Position:

• Provide remote tutoring support to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring sessions last 60 minutes
• 4-10 hours per week of assignments

Requirements

• 4-10 hours per week of availability
• An earned Bachelor's
• The ability to teach one or more of the following for grades 9-12: Biology, Chemistry, Physics or the Advanced Placement counterpart to those subjects -OR- Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >2 years of experience as grade 9-12 teacher or tutor
