Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking STEM or/and Math tutoring specialists to work with students in grades 9-12. This remote, California-based role offers flexible hours and a supportive team.

Sessions are 60 minutes long, 4-10 hours per week, with competitive pay of $40–$50 per hour and paid training. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of grade 9-12 teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Teach 9-12 Biology/Chemistry/Physics or Algebra/Geometry/Pre-Calc/Calculus or AP equivalents.
• 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.

Level: Experienced

Location: Remote, California based

Position: STEM/Math Tutor

Classification: Part time employee (W2)

The Position:

• Provide remote tutoring support to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring sessions last 60 minutes
• 4-10 hours per week of assignments

Requirements

• 4-10 hours per week of availability
• An earned Bachelor's
• The ability to teach one or more of the following for grades 9-12: Biology, Chemistry, Physics or the Advanced Placement counterpart to those subjects -OR- Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >2 years of experience as grade 9-12 teacher or tutor
