Job summary

Ysleta ISD seeks an on-site instructional leader to support teachers in literacy and dyslexia. The role focuses on coordinating interventions, planning and evaluating the educational program, and providing curriculum and intervention support to students in need.

Collaboration with staff and administration is essential to implement the RTI process, develop individualized plans, and ensure compliance with TEA guidelines and district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in education or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Texas teacher certification covering relevant grade levels (bilingual preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience with reading instruction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site instructional leader for teachers in literacy and dyslexia.
• Assist in coordinating interventions for students across core areas with emphasis on literacy/dyslexia.
• Plan, implement and evaluate the educational program to meet student needs.
• Provide curriculum support, training and targeted interventions to students in need.
• Collaborate with staff to implement RTI processes and monitor student progress.
• Maintain records and assist in data-driven decision making for interventions.
