Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction for at-risk students.
• Provide academic intervention, support, and monitoring of at-risk students.
• Planning and implementation of effective instruction.
• Analyze student data to identify trends and areas of improvement in instruction.
• Lead and actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
• Monitor the academic progress of students engaged in interventions.

Skills

Excellent motivational skills with teachers and students

Experience in coaching and modeling for teachers

Knowledge of core curriculum and instruction

Knowledge of district intervention programs

Ability to evaluate student progress

Ability to model and provide instructional implementation assistance

Flexible and patient with teachers and students

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university

Standard Texas teaching certificate

Three years experience of successful teaching
