Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of post-secondary education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in an active, multi-tasked environment.
• Ability to work with MS Office applications at an intermediate level.
• One year in an office setting and experience with a diverse population.
• Demonstrated strong communication, organizational skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Department Chair.
• Respond to queries and triage daily academic issues for students, faculty, staff and community stakeholders.
• Evaluate and resolve simple student account issues; refer complex issues to Chair or other departments.
• Assist with yearlong scheduling and data compilation for the department.
• Coordinate enrollment processes and respond to registration questions and rules.
• Support cross-departmental coordination and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist adjuncts and manage department operation needs and deadlines.
