Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Evidence of coursework in Mathematics, English/ELA, Reading, Science or Bilingual.
• Minimum three (3) years of actual work experience working directly with students.
• Understanding of and commitment to implementing academic intervention activities for students in grades 1-12.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with staff, families and caregivers.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive campus climate.
• Counsel and support students needing additional academic services.
• Attend to students' socioemotional needs and build trusting relationships.
• Develop and implement individualized academic intervention plans with teachers.
• Assist with planning instructional tasks for individual or small groups.
• Differentiate instruction based on students' strengths and needs.
• Support Math/English/Reading and related skills through interventions and iReady.
