Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching middle or high school mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of secondary mathematics content.
• Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Passion for personalized, student-centered learning.
• Preferred: Colorado teaching license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized math learning plans based on each student's current level, strengths, and goals.
• Meet regularly with students to review progress and adjust learning plans.
• Help students establish weekly and quarterly learning goals.
• Coach students in executive functioning, organization, and self-directed learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of learning needs and readiness levels.
• Facilitate targeted small-group instruction based on student needs.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and intervention when appropriate.
• Design engaging lessons that develop conceptual understanding alongside procedural fluency.
• Support students as they work independently, helping them persevere through productive struggle.
• Create opportunities for mathematical discussion, reasoning, and problem solving.
• Leverage technology to create a personalized, data-informed learning experience for every student.
• Build and manage personalized learning pathways and monitor progress with dashboards.
