Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. is seeking a Math Intervention Teacher to support student growth in small groups and one-on-one settings. You will assess current performance, deliver targeted math instruction, and maintain detailed session records under the Intervention Coordinator.

You will write lesson plans, analyze data, and collaborate with staff to drive student achievement. A strong English proficiency, background check, and alignment with CSUSA values are essential.

Qualifications

• College credit hours in Education OR valid IL teaching certificate.
• Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
• Alternatives CSUSA may find appropriate/acceptable.
• Commitment to company values.
• Equivalents of education and experience evaluated individually.
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess current level of performance for students in small groups.
• Provide targeted instructional that meets individual student needs.
• Write lesson plans and analyze data under the Intervention Coordinator.
• Treat all children with dignity and respect.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings and conferences.
• Operate and care for instructional equipment used in the classroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
• Follow directions given by head teacher or supervisor.
