Qualifications

• Maine Educational Technician III certification required.
• Experience with students in educational or intervention settings, preferably in mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to students in mathematics through small-group and individual intervention
• Support implementation of Title I math intervention programs and materials as directed by certified staff
• Assist teachers in reinforcing grade-level math concepts, including number sense, operations, fractions, problem solving, and mathematical reasoning
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and intervention effectiveness
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and intervention teams to adjust supports based on student response to instruction
• Support administration of math assessments and progress monitoring tools as needed
• Reinforce positive student engagement, perseverance, and productive mathematical habits
• Contribute to a supportive, structured, and encouraging learning environment for all students
