About Mathnasium

Mathnasium Learning Centers are committed to teaching children math so that they understand, master, and love it. The Mathnasium Method, developed over decades, has been transforming children's lives through math since 2002 and is offered through in-center, online, and hybrid instruction.

Position Overview

At Mathnasium of Collegeville, we aim to change lives through math by empowering our staff to provide exceptional educational services, build student confidence, and foster a lifelong love of mathematics. We seek driven and motivated individuals eager to make a difference.

Responsibilities

1. Provide engaging and effective math instruction and tutoring to students.
2. Interact positively with parents to build confidence and demonstrate program value.
3. Become proficient with digital educational tools and processes.
4. Teach in-center, online, or via hybrid methods using the Mathnasium Method and individualized instruction.
5. Assess student progress and collaborate with team members to enhance learning experiences.
6. Evaluate and correct student work and homework.
7. Maintain a clean and professional learning environment.
8. Assist with non-instructional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.
• Availability from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Additional Information

All applicants must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training on the Mathnasium Method is required post-hire. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
