Job description

Join to apply for the Math Instructor/Tutor role at Mathnasium of Washington Township.

Applicants must be passionate about Math and able to work with students from second grade through pre-Calculus. Part-time hours may include 4-8 evenings and 10-2 Saturday during the school year and will continue through the Summer with morning and evening hours.

All Candidates Must:

  1. Demonstrate competency in basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percent without a calculator. Pass a Mathnasium Math Literacy Test (includes up to Algebra 2).
  2. Have earned or be working toward an undergraduate/graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  3. Be available to work at least 2 days per week and 1 Saturday per month.
  4. Have previous tutoring experience.
  5. Pass a background check.

This is a part-time position with no benefits, beyond great experience, a resume booster, and an opportunity to work with other Math enthusiasts in a pleasant work environment. Starting hourly pay ranges from $14-18.00/hour.

We do not hire Instructors for the Summer only. Instructors must be available to work in person in Sewell, NJ.
