Position Summary

We seek an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and possesses excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This role offers a unique career path focused on community impact and professional growth. All applicants must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training in the Mathnasium Method is provided. This is a part-time, flexible hours position.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and tutoring to students
• Engage positively with parents and build confidence in the program
• Proficiently use digital educational materials and processes
• Teach in-center, online, or hybrid using Mathnasium methods and practices
• Assess student progress and collaborate with team members
• Evaluate and correct student work and homework
• Maintain a clean and professional learning environment
• Assist with non-instructional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong math skills through at least Algebra I
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and undergo training

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
