Job summary

Mathnasium of Berryessa is seeking an Instructor to deliver Mathnasium Method™ instruction to students in a friendly, center-based setting.

You will work with the team to provide individualized instruction in a group environment, assess progress, and communicate with parents. Part-time hours, flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and advancement opportunities are available.

• Support administrative tasks around the center.
• Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians

Required Qualifications

• Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; interest in taking on new projects; seeking promotion to Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and beyond
• Eagerness to learn and be trained

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents
• Desire and ability to teach
• Hours availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience
• Passion for math
• Strong math competency through at least Algebra I
