Job summary

Study Smart Tutors seeks enthusiastic instructors, tutors, family facilitators, and educational consultants in Vallejo, CA. In-person sessions are required with a fixed Wednesday time slot, and candidates must pass a background check.

The role involves teaching Math and ELA to various group sizes and collaborating with the Education team for comprehensive learning strategies. The position offers an excellent hourly rate and opportunities for professional development within a mission-driven

Qualifications

MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
In-person availability is required.
Scheduled hours: Wednesdays from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

Subjects to be taught: Math (Calculus & Statistics) and ELA.
Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
Partner with Study Smart Tutor's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
