Job summary

Study Smart Tutors is seeking tutors in Fresno, CA to provide in-person tutoring for groups of varying sizes. The role requires a completed 4-year degree and tutoring experience, with availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

A background check may be required. Compensation is $40 per hour with benefits including a 401(k), access to free virtual counseling, and an employee referral program bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience strongly desired.
• Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
• In-person availability is required.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups.
• Access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
