Job summary

Teaching Lab is seeking a Senior Director, Professional Education (Math) to lead the NYC Solves coaching and professional learning portfolio. You will shape strategy, align resources, and oversee program quality to improve educator practice and student outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Professional Education Officer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage senior staff, and drive growth and sustainability across portfolios while advancing educational equity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with PK-12 math content and practice standards.
• Experience leading senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record designing and leading professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute programmatic strategy across portfolios.
• Lead and coach portfolio staff and project leads.
• Oversee coaching and facilitation programs for partner schools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems.
