Summary

The Math Curriculum Specialist at National Heritage Academies (NHA) will report directly to the Manager of Math Curriculum and will be responsible for supporting schools in curricular needs related to professional development, programs, assessment development, resources, and documents.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide curriculum and assessments for Math teachers.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of created resources.
  • Deliver professional development for Math teachers.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to observe, model lessons, and coach Math instruction as requested.
  • Research and promote best practices in math education.
  • Maintain and enhance current projects.
  • Travel as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education required; Master's preferred.
  • 4-10 years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience presenting to adult learners.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • This position serves North Carolina.
