The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to join the Office of the University Registrar. This full-time temporary role, with a hybrid work schedule, is responsible for overseeing the configuration and maintenance of the University's curriculum within ConnectCarolina (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions) and CourseLeaf, the course catalog system.
Serving as the primary liaison for curriculum-related matters, the Curriculum Specialist works closely with campus partners to manage course proposals, academic program revisions, and academic plan updates. The position ensures accurate system configuration, thorough documentation, and consistent communication regarding curriculum changes, deadlines, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include maintaining course and academic plan data, developing controls that ensure the integrity of curricular systems, and delivering outstanding customer service to faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The Curriculum Specialist also supports various administrative processes, including managing Formstack submissions related to role updates and workflow adjustments, while promoting and communicating university policies and procedures.
