Job summary

Modern Classrooms Project is seeking a Math Curriculum Development Manager to lead the design, creation, and refinement of classroom-ready math materials for diverse learners. This role focuses on adapting high-quality curricula into a blended, self-paced, mastery-based format.

You will advance standards work by unpacking state math standards into teacher-friendly language and coordinating with multiple teams. This is a grant-funded, one-year position with potential continuation based on funding.

Qualifications

• Secondary math teaching experience (grades 6-12) required.
• Experience developing curriculum materials in full-time or contract roles.
• Ability to translate standards into teacher-friendly language.
• Experience using AI in workflows and reviewing AI output.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with remote/start-up environment.
• Familiarity with Savvas, Illustrative Mathematics, Bluebonnet.

Responsibilities

• Adapt existing math curricula to fit the MCP model.
• Support standards work for state math standards.
• Review curriculum resources with attention to detail.
• Prepare and share curricular resources across Google Drive and platforms.
• Draft materials with AI tools and verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with Success, Partnership, and Research teams.
• Manage additional math-related projects.
