Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer (Mathematics) to join the Asset Creation team. You will create and review test items and specifications for K-12 assessments, leveraging AI to enhance content while meeting accessibility standards.

You will collaborate with educators, psychometricians, and Pearson groups to ensure high-quality, standards-based content for state and district clients across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, content area, or equivalent experience.
• Five years’ teaching experience in elementary or secondary education preferred.
• Knowledge of content areas and educational trends.
• Experience with large-scale educational measurement preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content development and evaluation for education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grades for large-scale assessments.
• Assist in item/specification development, test blueprints, and ancillary documents.
• Leverage AI tools to support content development while ensuring accessibility and quality.
• Collaborate with teammates to integrate AI-generated assets into assessment workflows.
• Select, train, and manage item writers and educators for item development.
