Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer (Mathematics) to develop and review K-12 assessments for state and district clients from the Asset Creation team. You will act as a content and assessment expert, leveraging AI to improve quality and accessibility of educational content.

You will collaborate with educators, psychometricians, and Pearson groups to align items with standards and cognitive requirements, while staying current with AI-enabled tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience in content development for K-12 assessments preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-supported content creation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review test items across grade levels and formats.
• Create specifications, blueprints, and ancillary documents.
• Integrate AI-generated assets into assessment workflows.
• Coordinate with writers and educators on item development.
• Support customer meetings and test construction reviews.
• Stay current with AI trends relevant to education.
