Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of undergraduate teaching experience; 5 years for graduate instruction.
• Master's Degree in field of instruction from regionally accredited institution.
• Doctorate in field of instruction from regionally accredited institution.
• Satisfactory background check required.
• Resume or CV and unofficial transcripts must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses.
• Prepare course materials and lessons.
• Provide clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines.
• Provide relevant assignments demonstrating learning outcomes.
• Engage and support students to maximize participation and learning.
• Complete assessments, grade books, and final grade sheets.
• Respond to student questions within 48 hours.
• Refer at-risk students to academic support services.
• Ensure learning outcomes are delivered as per syllabus.
• Maintain safety and sanitation of labs, equipment and supplies where applicable.
• Post and maintain schedules; support retention activities.
• Attend professional development activities and maintain credentials.
